MY STORY

I enjoyed all mediums of art growing up, but my passion really started when I had the opportunity to study painting in Florence, Italy while abroad in college at North Carolina State University.

After graduating college, I joined Teach for America and then became a Speech Language Pathologist, where I worked in the hospital setting before staying at home with my youngest of three lovely children and deciding to pursue my passion, ART. I began collage and multidimensional art out of an admiration for all the inspiring wallpaper designs I received when attempting to decorate our home (still attempting to decorate). I could not let my leftover wallpaper and samples go to waste, so I began to repurpose them to recreate unique, joyful, fun collages.

I am a lover of colors, texture, and funk.
